I’ve spent nearly a decade immersed in weddings.

Owning and operating Waipuna Estate, one of Christchurch’s leading wedding venues, has given me a front-row seat to the highs, the hurdles, and everything in between when it comes to wedding planning and coordination.

What I’ve learned?

Planning a wedding doesn’t have to be stressful, it should be fun.

I don’t believe in generic checklists. I get to know you, your style, and what matters most. I’ve built strong relationships with trusted vendors, and I know how to bring together a team that fits your vision. No cookie-cutter weddings, just carefully crafted experiences that feel ‘so you’.

My support isn’t just about logistics

Weddings are a big deal, and I get how much this moment means. I bring a calm, steady presence, so when things feel overwhelming, you’ve got someone in your corner keeping things on track.

    I’ve definitely been known to shed many a tear during the vows and then later during speeches – the parents' speeches usually gets me!

  • A tradition I love

    I love it when couples do things that resonate and are meaningful to them and drop anything that doesn't feel authentic to who they are. I'm all about it being a reflection of the couple rather than adhering to traditions that don't feel right.

  • The best part of my job

    I love it when the sun is setting, you can hear happy guests laughing and enjoying themselves, the couple can't stop smiling and just feeling so honoured and privileged to have helped them.
